Leading tool to win the book sales R.A.C.E

If you’ve been following my blog over the last 3 weeks, you’ve been seeing all the great writing advice offered by Alinka Rutkowska, Mulit-Award Winning, #1 International Best-Selling Author. This next piece of advise is about her self-publishing course. I’ve taken the course, and it is incredible and a life-changing experience for me to be able to go on to be a confident self-published author knowing I have all the right tools. Here’s more from Alinka about why you need this self-publishing tool:

Have you met Jane? She’s an author too. When she first published her book she was dreaming of her name on the New York Times Best-seller list, because she knew that what she wrote can change her readers’ lives.

She was giddy with excitement when she first saw her name and her cover available on Amazon. “This is my big break,” she thought.

She was checking her sales dashboard and she couldn’t believe her eyes. One day had already passed and she didn’t make a single sale. She emailed her publisher to ask if the system was working. And her heart sank when she got the reply. The system was tracking correctly.

She still didn’t believe it so she bought her own book herself. And there it was: 1 sale on her dashboard.

But Jane wasn’t easily discouraged.

She woke up the next day with new hope in her heart. She logged into her dashboard and there it was again: 1 sale – her own.

While Jane’s hopes of landing on the NYT list faded, her determination to get her message into the hands of readers who need it, did not.

She started hunting the net for tips on book marketing and she was overwhelmed by what she found: “try blogging, join Facebook groups, join Tweet teams, create merchandise, join a forum, create an RSS feed, create a YouTube channel, make a book trailer, donate your books…”

Jane did ALL of it. She spent $2,000 on the book trailer, another $2,000 on merchandise related to her book and she donated $1,000 of her books.

She also realized that 6 months had passed and she sold 131 copies, making $262 in royalties.

She was $4,738 in the red and ready to call it quits.

She never told anybody about this because she was ashamed.

She didn’t want her family and friends to see her as a failure. She was a writer after all, an educated smart woman. How could this be happening to her?

She failed at reaching the NYT best-selling list. She failed at fulfilling her lifelong dream of making a career as an author. She even failed at making a return on her book marketing investment!

She felt miserable and borderline depressed… and puzzled how other authors whose books were no better than hers…were actually making a great living as authors!

Is it possible that Jane might be…you?

If so, you must hear about R.A.C.E.

Because R.A.C.E. is what will pull you out of this swamp of author mediocrity.

If you’ve participated in the 5-Figure Author Challenge, you’ve already got the R.

R=Reach

This is the first step to winning the author race.

It means that you need to reach your readers. Before they can form a lifelong relationship with you, they need to know you exist. And there are ways to do it right and ways to completely bomb it.

Reaching is like walking into a bar and making eye contact with that stunning individual that takes your breath away.

If you’ve been paying attention during the challenge, you know what type of romance works best to seduce your readers.

But that won’t get you anywhere near your full potential as an author.

What you need now is the A, C and E.

A=Acquire

Once that stunning individual from the bar looks you deeply in the eyes for one second too long, your next goal is to get their number (or have them come over and get yours).

That’s what acquire stands for.

Once readers know that you exist, you want a way to keep seducing them, because if you fail here, it’s game over.

C=Convert

This is a huge milestone that will completely change your relationship with your reader. In our bar situation, this is when you get to first base.

Now remember, the steps that lead to this are crucial. You can’t just kiss a stranger and expect to get anything more than a hard slap in the face. But if you go through steps R and A, C is where you start reaping rewards.

E=Engage

This is the culmination of the R.A.C.E. methodology. This is where you marry your stunning individual from the bar, or in other words, this is when that casual reader who had no idea who you were a few steps ago is now your hard-core true fan.

A true fan is someone who will plow through a snow storm for 3 hours barefoot just to see you. Just like a true love.

So now that you know all this, how do you win the book sales R.A.C.E?

Easy, you just follow this system http://authorremake.com/race/?ref=11 which has transformed struggling writers like Jane into profitable authors who make a full time living from their books.

Writing Activity 4th Grade

Guest post provided by Education.com  https://www.education.com/

Grade 4. Writing activity.

Be a Detail Artist!

Fourth graders need a lot of practice writing detailed sentences. They’re often good at writing introductions and conclusions. It’s what sits in the center that gets them into trouble. Fourth graders often need help beefing up the middle of a writing assignment. Does your young writer need more details to take her writing to the next level? Make it fun by mixing in some creative artwork!

What You Need:

  • Pencil
  • Lined paper
  • Colored pencils (or crayons)
  • White construction paper (or drawing paper)
  • Writing Topics list (see below)

What You Do:

  1. Tell your budding artist she is about to use her creative art and writing skills to play a game. In this game, she’ll be writing descriptions of suggested topics (below), then drawing pictures as you read her descriptions aloud. Share an interesting tid-bit with her and let her know that this is similar to what a police sketch artist does!
    2. Using the list below, have your child take out a pencil and a piece of lined paper, and write at least 4 detailed sentences on a topic of her choice.  Ask her to answer these basic questions when writing about a story or situation: Who? What? Where? Why? and How? If she’s writing about a place or object, rather than a story or situation, tell her to answer these questions instead: What does it look like? Smell like? Feel like? Taste like? Sound like?
    3. When she’s finished, have your child give you her writing. But resist the urge to change anything or help her to revise what she has written. Read what she’s written aloud, and while you’re reading, ask her to use her colored pencils to illustrate what you’re saying.  Here’s the catch: she can only draw exactly what you read.
    4. Have your child compare what she drew with what she wrote on paper. Does it match up? Is her drawing missing anything? If so, she may need to go back and add or delete a detail from her writing. Repeat this process for 1-2 more topics from the list. Then let her extend the activity, by adding her own topics. Want to get the whole family involved? Invite everyone else to play along and take turns with who reads and who draws.Writing Topics:
  2. Describe a car from the future.
  3. Pretend you found a message in a bottle on the beach.
  4. Describe a scary monster.
  5. Describe your facial expression when riding a roller coaster.
  6. What would you buy if you found $100

You + This Missing Link = 5 Figure Author

5-Figure Author Challenge starts today. It’s Free. Hosted by Alinka Rutkowska, Multi-Award Winning, #1 International Best-Selling Author and featuring the industry’s top authors and influencers sharing all their secrets on writing.

Researchers reveal the missing link to becoming a successful author

Picture yourself reading a book you just picked up:

“It’s good,” you think to yourself, but YOU could definitely do better!

You decide to take action. You write it. You publish it.

But as soon as it hits the market your heart sinks because nobody even noticed you put all this effort into producing this incredibly high quality book.

You try a bunch of promotional tactics but nothing works.

You realize you’re spinning the hamster wheel. You think of that book that inspired you to write yours. Why is it selling while nothing you do makes any difference? You simply can’t put your finger on it.

There’s something you must be missing here.

Albert Einstein is credited with explaining the definition of insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”

If what you’ve tried so far hasn’t brought you the results you want, you need to do something different to get a different result.

So what’s the missing link?

You need a clear, measurable goal to achieve a definite result because a goal well set is halfway reached.

But for the best results we need to take it even further.

A study on the goal-performance relationship revealed that the best results are experienced by people who challenge themselves to achieve them.

You perform better responding to a challenge than to general goals.

And you deserve the best.

That’s why you’re invited to the 5-Figure Author Challenge where the industry’s top authors and influencers are getting together to share all their secrets on writing, marketing and selling books at a 100% FREE online event!

But there’s more. Not only are they sharing their proven strategies that got them to 5+ figures, they are also CHALLENGING YOU to join them in achieving this measurable and realistic goal.

How you can become a 5-figure author in 2017

5-Figure Author Challenge – you’re invited http://authorremake.com/challenge/?ref=11

75% of authors make less than $250 a month. That’s outrageously disappointing considering that as authors we have the power to greatly impact our readers’ lives.

If you write fiction, your fans look to you for entertainment.

If you write non-fiction, you’re solving problems for your fans.

But impacting people’s lives is close to impossible when your book is just floating there, forgotten in the Amazon sea.

If your readers can’t reach you, all your hard work goes unnoticed and you lose your drive to create even more of what could have been a successful series of books.

The good news is, that thousands of authors can and are making 5+ figures!

In fact, 15 of them are getting together to share all their secrets on writing, marketing and selling books at a 100% FREE online event!.

But there’s more:

Not only are they sharing their proven strategies that got them to 5+ figures, they are also CHALLENGING YOU to join them!
